Seminar on Competition Law for Statoil

Due to the fact that the last competition law seminar organised in September for Saint Gobain Sekurit Eesti AS, the leading producer of high-quality automotive glass in Estonia, was very successful and received positive feedback from the participants, Lepik & Luhaäär LAWIN continues to organise client seminars on competition law topics.

On 6 December a competition law seminar was organised for the employees of AS Eesti Statoil. As the last time, Elo Tamm, Attorney-at-Law and a leading lawyer of the Competition Law team of Lepik & Luhaäär LAWIN, gave a general overview of the main definitons of competition law, restrictive agreements, abuse of dominant position and application of the Competition Act by the agencies. Aini Proos, Deputy Director General of Estonian Competition Board, complemented in her presentation the overview given by Elo Tamm, setting out actual examples and practical cases from the daily work of the Competition Board.
