LAWIN celebrates it's anniversary - 5 years of guiding investors in the Baltic region

Although the present global economic climate is not easy for investors, particularly, in the Baltic region, the partners of LAWIN - the leading Baltic legal services provider - are positive about the future and ready to guide their clients through both the current and any potential future market situations contributing to the successful implementation of their goals.

The basis for such confidence is more than 16 years’ experience of each LAWIN office providing top-notch and proactive legal assistance for many of the largest investors in the Baltic States. Among the projects have been consultations to clients in the largest and most difficult company acquisitions and investment processes in all sectors of economy - oil, energy, telecommunications, finance, manufacturing, infrastructure, and many others.

LAWIN’s diverse experience in the most difficult conditions of the emerging and, then, rapidly developing and dramatically changing market together with the constant improvement of the skills and competencies at the firm has helped cement LAWIN’s reputation as the leading firm in the region. The success has been recognised by both the clients, cooperation partners and the wider international legal community.

IFLR (International Financial Law Review) award "Baltic Law Firm of the Year 2008” and Who's Who Legal award "Law Firm of the Year 2008" for Latvia and Lithuania are just some  of the recent recognitions. LAWIN is also constantly top-ranked by the most prestigious international legal directories: Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 EMEA, IFLR1000. However, the biggest recogntion is the clients’ and peer evaluations and long-term partnerships with the majority of the clients.

Today, celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Pan-Baltic cooperation, LAWIN managing partners Peeter Lepik (Estonia), Filips Klavins (Latvia) and Rolandas Valiunas (Lithuania) acknowledge LAWIN’s team of lawyers for their professionalism, constant improvement of skills, and devotion to work. They recall the establishing of LAWIN, which was the first Pan-Baltic alliance at that time:

“We formulated our principles and values at the very moment of establishing LAWIN and have always adhered to them. The founders of LAWIN had a vision to organise a team of lawyers whose knowledge, experience, and devotion would meet the most exacting customer needs and who would always seek perfection and adhere to the highest ethical standards in their activities. The recognition we enjoy today as the top lawyers in the Baltic States has been achieved through the day-to-day implementation of this vision.”
